Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. The desire to become an artist was influenced by her upbringing in the New York family of artists. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. Her first two movies, she was recognized as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world fame and the Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. She was named the best female box-office star of the world after only three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was published. MacGraw got married to three different people.
