Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time her and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone started to develop the sport of gymnastics seriously as an infant on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next 11 years. Biles was awarded the gold and bronze medals in the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 at the top division of gymnastics competition. She was the most dominant in her sport within a mere two years. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed at the four events she competed in such as vault, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
