April Bowlby is an American model and actress. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known as Stacy Barrett on the American drama/comedy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s before moving into film and television. She made her first appearance on small screen as an extra for the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This then led to appearances in individual episodes of other series. Her breakthrough performance was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby fame across the globe. She played the character of Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character in the American show Titans. Bowlby will reprise her role in a spinoff series from The Doom Patrol series. Bowlby is also well-known by her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. Apart from All Roads Lead Home she has appeared in The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada as well as other films. April Michelle Bowlby has been an American actress for over 10 years. She studied ballet as well as French in Moorpark College before deciding to pursue an acting career. She was a Drama student in the class of Ivana Chobbuck. She was offered the lead role in a TV show (Kandi for Two and a Half Men) shortly following her Hollywood debut audition. Bowlby was a guest star on several TV series like CSI: NY featuring Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. Also, she appeared in Meg in How I Met Your Mother. Recently, Bowlby took on the role of Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who loses her mother in a car accident. Bowlby will be in the upcoming 2008 comedy movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She lives in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. She was never married, and has there are no children.
